The XXII Commonwealth Games was held in Birmingham, England, from 28 July to 8 August 2022.

Team Singapore was represented by 66 athletes in 9 sports, led by Chef de Mission, Ms Lim Heem Wei. 2 para athletes took part in 2 sports. In all, Team Singapore returned with 4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Para swimmer, Toh Wei Soong, contributed to the medal tally with a Silver medal in the men’s freestyle S7 final.

Para powerlifter, Nur Aini Mohd Yasli, finished 7th with 74.7 points in the women’s lightweight (up to 61kg) final. She was also selected as the female flagbearer.
