The 4th Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) took place in Manama, Bahrain from 2 to 6 December 2021. A total of 9 sports were offered for the 800 athletes under 20 years old, from 32 nations, who took part in the Games.

Singapore sent a contingent of 28 people, made up of 13 athletes, 2 athlete competition partners and 13 officials. The contingent was led by Chef-de-Mission Ms Theresa Goh, former Paralympian swimmer. The athletes participated across four sports, namely Athletics, Boccia, Swimming and Table Tennis, with ten making their major Games debut.

The athletes secured Singapore’s second-best showing at the AYPG, winning five gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
